Scizz and Barrister

Much like Chuck Schumer, we love to hear ourselves talk. With the Bills and NFL G4 loans on our minds, we have a little chat about those and more Olympic matters. Scizz defends #NBCFAIL as the "best of the worst" and Barrister vies for @Sam_Hartman's role as Chief Apologist of the DGWU Crew. As usual.

We also gush over our excitement for NASCAR at Watkins Glen this weekend. More on that to follow, of course.

Named and uploaded to comport with our new podcast hosting home at Libsyn, you can also stream this little gem below or download straight from the iTunes (and, while you're there, subscribe to the CrapTastiCast for future Casts and Boner Eps!!) Musical intro is from College featuring Electric Youth off of the awesome Drive soundtrack, and the outro (getting us in the mood for "The Glen") is Blitzen Trapper.

Stay vigilant Buffalo. There's white vans in those woods.

The Barrister and The Scizz

Back with another installment of the Infinite Sadness podcast, the Scizz and I talked through a series of topics - most actually sports-related. Amazing how we can stay on topic when we're not drunk.

We discuss the Kings' Game 6 win and take jabs at their fan base and then have a lengthy discussion about the Sabres offseason as we approach free agency next month. We also discuss the NBA finals briefly, and give thanks to Guatemala for tossing the World Cup Qualifier on pay-per-view last night. Other tidbits include jokes about masturbation, Tim Connolly, our fantasy for Derek Roy's demise, and horse racing. We're classy.

Musical contributions from Jurassic 5 and Dilated Peoples.

Download and stream the cast, which runs about 30 minutes, below.

Cheers.

Sad. And adorable.
The Barrister, feat. The Scizz

It was a rainy, misty, shitty day in New York City on Thursday. The perfect setting for our second installment of Infinite Sadness, one of the peripheral cogs in the Deeg Podcast Industries. Scizz, still sitting in the solitude of his sobriety, and I, still sitting in my own sweat and overworked misery, got together via Skype to discuss some of the more recent sports news that makes us infinitely sad.

While the arc of our conversation is often tangential, we touch on the NHL playoffs and how it's been to watch hockey suddenly get big in the big market of NYC, and then have a reflective discussion on how unsurprised we are to see that the Buffalo Sabres have not invited us and our stockpile of dick jokes to attend next month's Blogger Summit. Hint: It's Scizz's fault. Second Hint: It's also Alex Sulzer's fault.

This was a ton of fun to make, as always, and includes musical interludes from Incubus, Ben Folds Five and Biggie Smalls. Enjoy by streaming or downloading below.

Cheers.

The Barrister & The Scizz

Oh look, another podcast! Well, since it has become more and more difficult as of late to get the band together in the same recording space for CrapTastiCasts, and due to the success (???) of our other spin-off podcasts the Legal Limit, and Apostles of Bob, Barrister and I decided to get together and form our own brand. What did we come up with? Sadness. Lots of Sadness. Infinite sadness if you will, won't you?

With the Sabres season over, whiny TBNers crying about worthless press conferences, and the Mets playing shitty baseball again, there is just so much to be absolutely sad about. Thus, we bring you the new DGWU Sports podcast creation, Infinite Sadness. We curse and make inappropriate jokes, so as always, NSFPOLAW (Not safe for playing out loud at work).

I think we're on to something here, so take a listen and enjoy. All music this week is from the Smashing Pumpkins.
