Welcome to Episode 3 of the DGWU CrapTastiCast! Long intro today, but there is much to cover. I should begin by saying that this episode was originally supposed to have an AMAZING interview in it with Phil from Blue & Black & Gold. However, since we are new at this, and also because Phil is just such a cool dude to talk to, the interview went a liiiiiiiiittle long. So what we decided to do is split everything in to TWO podcasts, with our regular edition going up now, and the special interview edition with Phil up later today or tomorrow. We gave Megsy, our producer quite the work load for someone we only pay in praise and admiration (and maybe sometimes booze). So you get to hear a lot from our vulgar mouths in the next few days. (Miller saying "expletive" really got us going!)
In this episode we talk all things game four, including the awesomeness that is Ryan Miller, Lindy Ruff calling out the whiny Flyers, the young guys stepping up, Richards' elbow, "Gate-gate", and of course Tim Connolly's inability to win face-offs, but ability to score on Chippewa. We also introduce the newest version of our Sabres Crunk Mix theme song (Mondee!), preview our interview with Phil, introduce "60 seconds of Knicks talk" with the Apologist, talk NFL draft plans for next week, play Nick Mendola's brilliant rendition of "Daniel", and make fun of the Yachtsman....A LOT. As always, a big thanks goes out to Megsy and Mondee, and of course Phil for being patient with us assholes. The interview is worth the wait folks!
