WGRZ is reporting that top blue-line scorer Jaroslav Spacek has signed with divisional rival Montreal Canadiens.
Darcy said he tried to keep him, but who the fuck knows. 3 years for 11.5 million is completely within reason, especially after the asinine contract he gave Tim Connolly. But I think it is a distinct possibility, that after watching the front office torpedo this team the past 2 seasons, that Spacek said "screw it" and decided to move on.
The worst part for The Scizz? I found out over the Spring that when Spacek is in town to play the Rangers, he goes to a Czech restaurant around the corner from me and gets hammered with New York's Czech players. Then again, the last thing I need is another restraining order.
